These terms govern your use of gharstey.com and the GharStey app. By using GharStey you agree to them.
1. What GharStey is
GharStey is a listing platform that connects guests with owners of houses, villas, apartments, farmhouses, rooms, hotels and restaurants. GharStey is not a party to any agreement between guests and owners, does not own or manage listed properties, and does not process payments.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18, give accurate information, and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Owners' responsibilities
- Only list properties or businesses you own or are authorised to offer.
- Keep descriptions, photos, prices, amenities and availability accurate and up to date.
- Comply with all applicable laws, licences, society rules, tax obligations and guest-registration requirements.
- Respond to booking requests honestly and in good time.
4. Guests' responsibilities
- Provide accurate booking details and respect house rules and local laws.
- Verify the property and owner before paying anything. Agree payment, deposits and cancellation terms directly with the owner, preferably in writing.
5. Prohibited use
No fraudulent, misleading, illegal, discriminatory or offensive listings or messages; no spam, scraping, or attempts to break or misuse the service.
6. Content
You keep ownership of content you post, and give GharStey permission to display it on the service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, GharStey is not responsible for the condition, safety or legality of listings, the conduct of guests or owners, or any dispute or loss arising from a booking.
8. Example data
Listings labelled “Example data” are samples for demonstration and are not real offers.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the changes. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
